New DIY show looking for participants in Preston
A new TV show for Channel 4 is looking for participants in Preston to help with their DIY challenges.
Tool Club will bring together experts to help the public take on challenging home projects, small repair jobs and recycling.
Britons have spent billions on their homes and gardens since the pandemic began, but some homeowners have found themselves with shoddy jobs and lengthy DIY jobs because they lack the skills to get the job done.

Tool Club aims to upskill the nation in all things DIY, so viewers can truly learn how to do it themselves.
In addition to visiting people’s homes to help with projects, people will also have the opportunity to bring items in a converted double-decker bus that serves as a mobile workshop.
The team of experts on-site at the Tool Bus includes famed up-cycler, Max McMurdo, expert carpenter, Julia Miller-Osborn, and all-around excellent Jessica Grizzel.
The bus will serve as a base for the team to demonstrate hands-on DIY skills, tricks and hacks.
The production team is looking for owners, with a small budget for a project, who wish to benefit from the help of experts to carry out, correct or complete the work.
Or people with items to bring to the Tool Bus, restore, reuse or reupholster.
People are welcome to email [email protected] with photos and project information.
