These research reports were handpicked from over 70 reports released today by our team of analysts.

Actions of Johnson & johnson underperformed the Zacks Large Cap Pharmaceuticals sector over the past year (+ 13.8% vs. + 23.1%). J&J faces numerous lawsuits alleging bodily injury to patients caused by the use of its products. Other headwinds such as generic competition and price pressure continue to weigh on its margins.
The Zacks analyst, however, believes Johnson & Johnson is poised to benefit from the successful expansion of drug labels, including Imbruvica, Darzalex and Stelara. The medical devices segment is also recovering after its sales were affected at the start of the pandemic. J&J is also making rapid progress with its pipeline and line extensions.
Netflix stocks have gained + 21.9% during the year-to-date period against the Zacks Broadcast radio and television industry gain of + 14.8%. The Zacks analyst believes that Netflix remains poised to benefit from a growing subscriber base, a focus on originals in various genres and languages, rapid international expansion as well as partnerships with operators of telecommunications.
Netflix added 4.38 million paying subscribers worldwide in the third quarter of 2021, up from 2.2 million in the previous year quarter. A strong content roster and the resumption of production should help Netflix’s outlook for the remainder of 2021. Fierce competition from Apple TV +, Disney +, Amazon prime video, Hulu, YouTube and HBO remains a major concern, however.
Actions of Oracle have gained + 20% in the past six months against Zacks’ computer software industry’s + 30.5% gain, but things appear to be improving for the company. The Zacks analyst believes that Oracle’s growing cloud business and its latest stand-alone database should boost its long-term growth prospects.
Oracle performance benefited from continued momentum in its cloud business, driven by strong adoption of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and standalone database offerings. Fierce competition from other industry players, lawsuits, and integration risks, however, are likely to impact Oracle as it moves licensing to the cloud.
Other noteworthy reports we feature today include PepsiCo and Verizon Communications.
