Dining services offer special dining deals and limited-time discounts

Shippensburg University Dining Services is offering students a variety of limited-time offerings and special dining opportunities on campus this semester. One of the current limited-time offerings is Loaded Philly Tots served at the Century Cafe, which will be available until February 4.

The Starbucks, in the Ezra Lehman Memorial Library, will have Meatless Mondays. Students can get a discounted breakfast sandwich at Starbucks on January 31. The Rolling Tacos will be back on Taco Tuesdays at Limon Chile in the Ceddia Union Building. For Wellness Wednesday, students can follow @ShipDiningServices on Instagram to find out where each week’s healthy snack will be distributed.

Prime Station Takeover is the new version of Dining Services from Prime Thursdays. Each week, one station in the Reisner Dining Room will be replaced with a special one-night only menu. January 20 was the inaugural takeover of Smash Burgers and a sidebar. The next rerun will be made-to-order mac and cheese with a topping bar from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on January 27.

Food Services hosted a welcome dinner in Reisner’s Tuscarora Room at 4:30 p.m. on January 24. Food Services served students a gourmet buffet as well as vegan options and the True Balance Allergen Station. They encouraged students to bring a friend who currently did not have a meal plan; if they signed up for a plan before Jan. 28, both students would receive an additional $50 in flex for the semester. All participants had the chance to win one of twenty prizes, including an electric scooter, AirPods and free coffee at Dunkin’.
